The IELTS band score calculator follows these rules:
If the average score ends in .25, it rounds down to the nearest half band (e.g., 6.25 → 6.0).
If the average score ends in .75, it rounds up to the next full band (e.g., 6.75 → 7.0).
If the average is .5 or a whole number, it remains the same (e.g., 7.5 → 7.5).
