Adding a Bluehost email to Gmail looks very easy. But you must check your login credentials and that you have enough space in your mailbox. Here are the steps to follow:
- Open Gmail. Click on the Settings icon (to the right of the question mark).
- Click on the “See all settings” option.
- Go to the Accounts and Import tab.
- Click “Add a mail account” next to the “Check mail from other accounts” section.
- A Gmail pop-up named “Add a mail account” will appear.
- Enter the Bluehost email address you want to add, then click Next.
- Select the radio button next to Import emails from my other account (POP3).
- Click “Next.”
- Enter the Bluehost email address again in the Username field.
- Fill in your account password.
- Enter “mail.(your domain name)” in the POP server field.
- Choose “995” for the Port. Check the “SSL” and “label incoming messages” option.
- Click on Add Account. Once you’ve added the email, click on the radio button next to “Yes, I want to be able to send mail as.”
- Click on the Next button.
- Enter a name, and click on the “Next Step” button.
- The “Send mail through your SMTP server” window will appear.
- Enter the same information in the Username and password field as before.
- In the SMTP server field, enter “mail.(your domain name).”
- Select “465” for the Port.
- Select the “Secured connection using SSL” option.
- Click on Add Account.
- A confirmation code or link will be sent to you by Gmail. Open your Gmail and check the verification email.
- Click the confirmation link.
- Once redirected to the confirmation page, click Confirm.
- Return to Settings. Click See all settings to confirm the email as the default.
- Open the Accounts and Import tab.
- Click the make default next to the email address you’ve added.
